1) Thanks for the shoutout. I got seven new subscribers yesterday which is a banner day for me (somewhere big Substack just chuckled at my quaint little quarry), so you're basically an influencer now.
2) YAY PAPERBACK!
3) Extra bonus YAY for getting into the groove with the new book, however weird it feels!
Oh Jane, there is no second of all and most certainly no third of all. These are rookie mistakes for a writer. There is only one ‘of all’ and that is ‘first’. Subsequent additions are ‘secondly, thirdly’, etc.
Susie, you'll find that I use a colloquial, conversational, and frequently quirky writing style here on my Substack. Rest assured, when I'm writing more formal communications, I do not commit such syntactical atrocities. ;-)
Love all of your writing, Jane, including this one.
Secret: Teachers feel the same way on the first day of school: "Wait, I forgot how to teach."
Obviously, please don't tell anyone I said that, as I am interviewing for a new teaching position. : )
Your secret is safe with me! <3
Oh god. I know this so well. Keep on keeping on!
I apologize for my comment yesterday; it was unnecessary and rude. I enjoy your writing, Jane, and have for some time. Please forgive my boorishness.
Aw, it's quite all right. Thanks for reading.
Three things:

2) YAY PAPERBACK!
3) Extra bonus YAY for getting into the groove with the new book, however weird it feels!
Seven! Excellent! I feel so influential. (I think I've gotten a few from yours as well, so belated thanks for that.)

P.S. I believe the correct punctuation is "Oh, Jane" not "Oh Jane"
